SCENARIO:
You are an Advisory Senior Associate of a business analytics team at PwC and your manager wants to discuss with you on a new engagement with a client, Franklin Pizza.
The Franklin Pizza restaurant has 4 locations in Franklin, MA. The company wants your teams help in looking at the data related to number of quality pizzas made per person in the last 50 months and overall customer satisfaction index (CSI) for these months. CSI is measured on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 indicating highest satisfaction. This data is as shown in the uploaded excel file below.
The company wants answers the following questions.
- Are all locations performing in a consistent manner to produce quality pizzas or there is a difference between them? If there is a difference, which location (s) is performing better than other locations?
- Is there a relation between the average pizzas/person corresponding to the four locations and the CSI? Can that relation be expressed with analytical model to predict CSI in future.
In addition, you tested your analytical model with 50 observations that are not part of model development. To keep things simple for explaining client, you will be using the following CSI range to distinguish satisfied and dissatisfied customers.
Satisfied: 9 to 10; Dissatisfied: less than 9
Using above scale, your model for test data has following performance measures:
Accuracy = 0.9; Precision = 0.87; Recall =0.91 and there are 20 true positives.
With this information, you need create a confusion matrix and provide explanation along with answers to above questions.
Based on above analysis, you need to provide a set of recommendations that includes
- answering clients questions
- model performance aspects.
