Today you will be doing a section of a research outline that is a group project. The file provided is what the whole outline needs to look like, it’s an example. For my group, my section of this outline is to do the

In the example it’s I”II. What is the specific focus and design of the project? (1-2 pages)

1. How does the socioeconomic status of a student affect their ability to learn in a virtual
   setting?
2. What research design will you use and why?

We will be using a qualitative research method, because this is a fluid discussion relating to
young students and their learning styles/abilities. We will be exploring individual students’
perspectives to try and determine an overarching theme. We will be gathering information via
observations, interviews, and focus groups.

c. Sample (size and demographics)

Our ideal sample size would be small focus groups of similar ages from 3-4 schools or school
districts with varying demographics. (i.e. a small group of elementary male and female students
from a high achieving/income school vs. a small group of elementary male and female students
from a low income school) “

That’s an obiusly made up group so don’t use the same information, however use the sa e format as the example for my part.

You’ll see in the example how my section should look. Remember it’s an outline not a paper so you don’t have to do too much. I’ll be providing what my group has so far on our doc, remember your doing the “Warrens” part which is the purpose section.

You’ll also see in the top of the example it says “Literature to review: responsible party: each group member will review their own articles ” Find 2 articles that correlate with our topic we’re studying and explain those two like the outline example shows .
