Section 1: Identify an Education Reform Initiative
- With your partner, identify an education reform initiative from the past 20 years that was explicitly for the state level.
- Individually/separately create a list of three different innovative ideas that can take this reform to the national level. The combined list must include six innovative ideas.
- Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the ideas to determine if a systemic plan and approach can be developed.
Section 2: An Education Reform Plan
- From the six ideas decided upon with your partner, create one innovative reform plan that will advance the initiative to the national level. The plan should be developed for the next 35 years and include sustainability indicators.
- Create a systems model that describes the inputs, outputs, and throughputs connected to the innovation.
Section 3: The Presentation
- Present the plan using a multi-media format such as PowerPoint, Prezi, Empressr, or SlideRocket.
- The presentation should be engaging and informative.
