Review journal articles from the Journal Search/ERAU Hunt Library and prepare a short paper comparing how the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) develop safety standards.

After reviewing the above resources, describe the following concerning flight and ground operations:

The FAA rulemaking process for developing regulations

How ICAO develops standards and recommended practices (SARPs)

The differences between an FAA regulation and a SARP

As you learn about human factors and how they affect human error, you will realize that it may result in an accident. Pilot error is a top probable cause for catastrophic accidents over the past few decades. To combat this problem, Crew Resource Management (CRM) was introduced by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
