Write an essay of no less than 550 and no more than 650 words in which you comment
on what these two articles have to say. Your response must be based on what you have
learned in the past two weeks concerning the question of historical race issues in
California. How do these articles resonate with what you have learned? How are they
different? Ultimately your essay should provide an answer to the question are
immigrants valuable contributors to life in California or are they not based on the history
of immigrants to California.?
As you will have only 600 words to tackle these very challenging questions, you must
focus your argument carefully by starting with a well-crafted thesis.
For evidence to support your argument, your response must rely on the materials,
lectures, and videos we have encountered in this class. Apt use of this evidence will be
