Assignment description:

Considering what you have learned in the previous seven learning modules (I am going to attach all the assignments from 7 modules), describe the key points that you have learned about talent management in organizations. Use one specific job as an example to illustrate how these concepts apply throughout the talent lifecycle of the job.

Assignment requirements:

Create a presentation (e.g. PowerPoint or Keynote slides) that clearly explains how you would:

conduct a job analysis in an organization

attract, evaluate, and select talent for a job

train and develop employees in a job 

manage employee performance in a job

design a compensation plan for a job 

design a plan for career progression from a job

• retain top talent in a job, and handle separation from a job

Make sure that you are addressing federal employment laws throughout each section, as this is an additional graded component of the assignment. 

• Important: In most sections, as with your individual module assignments, you will be describing how you would plan to do each step, but you won’t actually be completing the tasks in detail now. For example, you won’t complete a job analysis; you’ll explain what a job analysis is, and describe the steps that you would take when actually completing one. Similarly, you’re not expected to identify compensation amounts or exact performance goals in this class, but you should demonstrate that you understand these concepts and can plan for how you would make these decisions in the real world.
